Please consider attending an information session that will introduce you to the Southern Ontario Smart Computing Innovation Platform (SOSCIP) collaborative research project model, which will describe computing, technical and funding opportunities available through the program. The SOSCIP team will be available after the presentation to answer questions and consult on project ideas.

SOSCIP, of which Western is a founding member, has a mandate to fuel innovation leadership in Canada within the areas of advanced manufacturing, digital media, cybersecurity, mining, agile computing, health, water, energy, and cities. SOSCIP fosters partnerships between academic and industry researchers on projects requiring advanced computing and big data analytics tools, and have strong
potential for commercialization. It also helps researchers from a wide array of disciplines gain access to advanced computing resources and expertise unavailable elsewhere in Canada. | soscip.org
