Petro-Canada Young Innovator Award

The Petro-Canada Young Innovator Award program recognizes, promotes and supports the work of new faculty researchers whose work is particularly innovative, impacts positively on the learning environment in the department in which they study, and has the potential to be of significance to society at large. Although research related to Petro-Canada’s areas of interest may strengthen a proposal, priority will be given to research innovation in any discipline.

Amount: Up to $12,000 (Western)

Deadlines:
Faculty Research Office: 3 days prior to RD&S deadline (if you wish to have feedback on your application 1 week prior – contact Karen Kueneman)
Research Development & Services: March 22, 2016. (Results announced May 2016)

Eligibility: All full-time faculty researchers up to their 8th year at Western.

Notes:
  1. All applications must include a Letter of Support from the Dean of the candidate’s faculty.
  2. All applications must be uploaded to a ROLA Proposal before Chair and Dean signature approval is confirmed.
