Canada’s Fundamental Science Review – Report Released

The Government of Canada has released “Investing in Canada’s Future: Strengthening the Foundations of Canadian Research”. This report is the result of a review assessing the programs currently in place to support science and scientists in Canada. The scope of the review included the three granting councils along with other federally funded organizations such as the Canada Foundation for Innovation.

“This report sets out a multi-year agenda that, if implemented, could transform Canadian research capacity and have enormous long-term impacts across the nation.“— C. David Naylor, Professor of Medicine, University of Toronto (Chair)
