Mitacs Elevate is now accepting applications for two-year postdoctoral funding. Mitacs Elevate helps organizations build their business with support from top-ranked, highly trained research talent. Participating fellows work closely with partner organizations to understand their business needs and apply research principles to address these needs.

Amount: $60,000 annual award (plus $7,500 per year non-cash value in training)

Note: for this funding the academic researcher collaborates with a business, NGO / other external partner. Partner organizations provide $30,000, and Mitacs provides $30,000, for a total research grant of $60,000 per year.

Deadlines:
Intent to Apply and Conflict of Interest declaration: June 13, 2018, at 5 p.m. PT
Pre-review of draft applications: June 27, 2018, at 5 p.m. PT
Application: July 11, 2018, at 1 p.m. PT
Results announced: November 2018
Projects must start by February 6, 2019
