France-Canada Research Fund – New Collaborations

The France-Canada New Scientific Collaboration Support Program provides funding for new scientific projects jointly developed by French and Canadian teams that have never worked together before. Submitted proposals must be joint projects between a French establishment (all universities, Grandes Écoles, and research organizations are eligible) and one of the FCRF’s 20 Canadian member universities (Western being one).

Amount: Funding is available for 2 years, in amounts ranging from $8,000 to $15,000, according to the needs expressed the principal investigators. Funding is primarily intended to support the mobility of researchers and their students.

Deadlines:
Faculty Research Office: 5 days prior to Research Western deadline. (If you wish to have feedback on your application allow at least one-two weeks – contact Karen Kueneman)
Research Western: November 8, 2019 by 2 pm – ROLA due + email draft PDF copy of your application & CVs to researchoffice@uwo.ca
French Embassy: November 15, 2019
