Western’s Knowledge Mobilization Innovation Grants for SSHRC-Related Research

Western’s Knowledge Mobilization (KMb) Innovation Grants are designed to support the dissemination and mobilization of knowledge of SSHRC-related research using innovative and creative KMb activities.

Amount: $7,500 (over one year)

Deadlines:
Faculty Research Office: 1 week prior to agency deadline. (If you wish to have feedback on your application allow at least two weeks – contact Karen Kueneman)
Western Research: May 28, 2021, 5:00 pm ET (for a decision by June 30, 2021)

Description: Funds are intended to support the development of a KMb activity that cannot be accomplished with funding currently available to the faculty researcher or through other internal research funding opportunities.

Specific objectives of the program include developing innovative and creative KMb activities/outputs; building capacity by supporting individuals who can lead and champion KMb; improving uptake, application, and influence of SSHRC-related research; enhancing the visibility of Western’s SSHRC-related research and researchers

Eligibility: Applicants must hold an eligible academic research appointment at Western. The subject matter of the research project or activity must be consistent with SSHRC’s mandate.
