If your research is in the area of health you may be interested in this funding competition.
Description: The opportunity is designed to capture ideas with the greatest potential to advance health-related knowledge, health research, health care, health systems, and/or health outcomes. It supports projects with a specific purpose and a defined endpoint. The best ideas may stem from new, incremental, innovative, and/or high-risk lines of inquiry or knowledge translation approaches.
Registration to the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) first Project Grant live pilot competition will be open from November 16, 2015 to January 18, 2016. Registrants will be required to provide information that will allow CIHR to secure the most appropriate expertise for high quality review of all applications within the competition timelines. Specifically, please note that the following elements cannot change between registration and application:
- Summary of research proposal, as this will enable us to match expertise for peer review;
- List of all participants, as this will enable conflict checking for potential reviewers.
Complete registration instructions can be found online. Additional materials to support the application and peer review process will be available on the CIHR website in the coming weeks.
Please contact Karen Kueneman, kueneman@uwo.ca if you plan to apply.
