In anticipation of major competitions this fall* that require the Canadian Common CV (CIHR Project and Foundation Grant programs; NSERC Discovery Grant program), Research Services has scheduled 3 CCV Information Sessions on campus this summer.
Important Note: There are mandatory Registration / Notification of Intent (NOI) to Apply stages for both CIHR Foundation Grants (deadline: Not yet announced – anticipated ‘late July’), and NSERC Discovery Grants (deadline: Monday, August 1st @ 8PM). A version of the Common CV must accompany these submissions.
Anyone is welcome to attend any Info Session below. It may be particularly useful to those who haven’t had to use the CCV yet in applying for research funding. As the process can be time-consuming, it is recommended that you start the CCV as early as possible.
The information session will also include a look at the ResearchNet and Research Portal application submission systems.
