The application form for SSHRC Insight Grants is now available.

Amount: $7,000 to $400,000 over 3 to 5 years (no more than $100,000 in one year)

Deadline Dates:
14 September – first draft – your Faculty Research Office (for peer review – if you meet this deadline you will receive a peer review of your application – send to Karen Kueneman)
28 September – draft to Faculty Research Office (for additional review by Research Officer)
7 October – RD&S Internal Deadline for submission of applications + ROLA Proposal (submit draft pdf document via email to researchoffice@uwo.ca)
*2pm* 17 October – SSHRC deadline for submission of applications

Description: Insight Grants support research excellence in the social sciences and humanities. Funding is available to both emerging and established scholars for long-term research initiatives. Applicants are invited to review the six future challenge areas and subquestions, and to consider addressing one or more of these areas in their research proposal. However, this will not be an evaluation criterion for merit review.

Eligibility: Applicants  must hold an eligible academic research appointment at Western.

ROLA  must be completed at the time of the full application.
