The Canadian Bar – Law for the Future Fund (LFFF) has grants available for innovative projects in the field of law.
Projects eligible for consideration must be of national interest and/or of benefit to the general public and must be in at least one of the following fields:
- legal research
- legal education
- legislation and law reform
- administration of justice
Deadlines:
Faculty Research Office: 1 week prior to agency deadline (2-3 weeks if you wish feedback on your application – submit to Karen Kueneman)
Research Development & Services: at least 5 days prior to agency deadline
Canadian Bar Association: October 15, 2016
Amount: no set maximum but the average grant issued varies between $10,000 – $30,000
Eligibility: Applicants must hold an eligible academic research appointment at Western.
Full Applications are to be processed through Research Western and are to be accompanied by a completed ROLA.
