In April, 2017 the Canada Council will launch its New Funding Model. At that time all of the current funding programs will be retired and 6 new funding programs (see below) will be introduced. Replacing a substantial number of discipline-specific, specialized programs with six broad programs allows the Canada Council to focus on the pillars of artistic research, creation, production and dissemination across fields of artistic practice.
