CIHR’s Project Grant program is designed to capture ideas with the greatest potential to advance health-related fundamental or applied knowledge, health research, health care, health systems, and/or health outcomes. It supports projects with a specific purpose and a defined endpoint.
There will be two competition deadlines in 2017. The Spring 2017 competition will have an application deadline of June 13, 2017 and the subsequent competition will have an application deadline before the end of 2017, with a funding start date of April 1, 2018.

- Anticipated Notice of Decision: November 23, 2017
