Data Day at Western

Data Day at Western

March 24, 2017
9:00 – 3:30

Social Science Centre, Room 5220

Jointly sponsored by Western’s Faculty of Social Science and Michael Veall’s (McMaster, Economics) recently awarded SSHRC Partnership Grant, the goal of the day is to introduce the Western research community to some of the new and exciting datasets at Statistics Canada (many of which can only be accessed through the Centre for Data Development and Economic Research (http://www.statcan.gc.ca/eng/cder/index).

The sessions will be of interest to anyone doing socio-economic research in Canada who wants to learn more about the new datasets either available or under development within Statistics Canada.

Feel free to come for all or part of the day.  Please RSVP to Leslie Kostal (Leslie.Kostal@uwo.ca)by March 15, 2017, indicating what you’d like to attend to ensure that there are enough food and refreshments.
