Research on Teaching and Learning Workshop: Introduction to Qualitative Research Methods

Introduction to Qualitative Research Methods

Thursday, November 22, 2018; 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
Centre for Teaching and Learning, Room 122, The D. B. Weldon Library

Qualitative research methodologies ask questions focused on the what, why, and how of human interaction; they provide valuable, empirical evidence about how individuals experience teaching and learning and the organizational structures around which teaching and learning are built. This two-hour session invites participants to consider how qualitative methodologies can be used to research a broad range of topics related to teaching and learning. Participants will have the opportunity to workshop topics of research related to their own interests through the lens of qualitative inquiry.
