The Embassy of France in Canada is launching the 2nd edition of its Mobility Funding for Researchers Program. This program is intended for French and Canadian researchers who wish to spend a short stay with their counterparts, either in France or in Canada.
Amount:1 return economy-class flight Canada- France or France-Canada; A contribution towards subsistence costs (per diem, for a maximum of three nights)
Deadlines:
Faculty Research Office: 2-3 weeks before agency deadline if you wish feedback on your application – submit to Karen Kueneman
Research Development & Services: A submitted ROLA proposal is required , as well as a PDF copy of the application sent to researchoffice@uwo.ca by/before Feb. 11, 2019.

The call for applications is open to all research fields, as well as to all researchers working in a Canadian or French laboratory, university or research center. The laureates are offered a transatlantic flight and financial support for a short stay on site.

Additional information:
- Success rate in first Mobility Funding competition (held in 2018): 25%
- Applications are jointly reviewed by the Embassy’s scientific services in Vancouver, Toronto and Ottawa.
- Applicants should demonstrate that the project will create lasting collaborations between Canadian and French laboratories.
