The following information is for Western inter-institutional applicants who are participating as partners on another institution’s SSHRC Partnership Grant – Stage 2 application.
SSHRC Partnership Grants (Stage 2) require Western invited partners to provide a signed letter of support (the Letter of Engagement) from the host institution (Western), and a partner invitation must be received and completed in the SSHRC system.
If you have been invited as a partner on another lead institution’s Stage 2 application, in order to receive timely administrative review and institutional approval (VPR signature), please submit the following to Elizabeth Russell-Minda, elizabeth.minda@uwo.ca ) by October 15, 2019:
- A draft Letter of Support from Western—max 2 pages, to be reviewed by Research Development and the Vice-President (Research);
- Approval for cash or in-kind contributions from your Faculty/Department; and
- Any partner agreements between Western and the lead institution.
In addition, by October 23, 2019, the following must be completed:
- A partner invitation sent to Research Western from the lead institution (contact Research Development prior to October 23 for Western institutional contact information).
- A ROLA proposal.
The SSHRC Partnership Grant Stage 2 deadline is October 29, 2019.
