CIHR Project Grants

The CIHR Project Grant program is now accepting applications for the Spring 2020 competition. The Project Grant program is open to applicants in all areas of health research that are aligned with the CIHR mandate.

CIHR’s Project Grant program is designed to capture ideas with the greatest potential to advance health-related knowledge, health research, health care, health systems, and/or health outcomes.

Amount: commensurate with need – expected to vary by research field, research approach, and scope of project activities

Deadlines:
Registration deadline (Mandatory): Feb 5, 2020
Faculty Research Office: February 18, 2020
Research Dev’t: February 24, 2020, by/before 2PM. (Submit ROLA proposals for e-approvals, and PDF copies of applications (PDF Preview from ResearchNet -complete drafts accepted) to researchoffice@uwo.ca)
CIHR: March 4, 2020 by/before 2PM. (The applications route first to Research Services. Research Services does the final submission to CIHR.)
Anticipated Notice of Decision: July 8, 2020
Funding Start Date: October 1, 2020

CIHR will be hosting the following webinars to support participants with the requirements of the funding opportunity and to answer questions on how to apply. Please download and read the presentation available on the registration page prior to the webinar.
