CIHR Project Grant 2022 Panel Discussion about Peer Review

Description: The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry will be hosting a virtual panel discussion about CIHR Project Grant peer review. Panel members will consist of faculty who served as reviewers in the Fall 2021 and/or Spring 2022 Project Grant Competition:
- Lorelei Lingard, Department of Medicine, CERI senior scientist
- John Ronald, Department of Medical Biophysics, Robarts Scientist
- Susanne Schmid, Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology
- Jonathan Theissen, Department of Medical Biophysics, Lawson Imaging Scientist
Some of the topics to be covered include tips and advice from recent reviewers about preparing applications, selecting peer review committees, information from a reviewer about the tri-agency interdisciplinary peer review committee, and an outline of internal deadlines. There will be an opportunity to ask panelists questions.
This event is open to all faculty, staff and trainees at Western or its affiliates who would like to attend.
Please note the session will be recorded and will be made available for viewing afterward for those not able to attend.
