This pre-call framework is based on previous Guggenheim Fellowships competitions and is therefore subject to change as new information is provided by the agency.
Guggenheim Fellowships are intended for scholars who have demonstrated exceptional capacity for productive scholarship or exceptional creative ability. The grants are made for 6-12 months and provide fellows with blocks of time for creative freedom. Grants have no special conditions and fellows may spend their funds indiscriminately as it pertains to their work. Awarded grant values will vary.
