Under this fellowship Durham University, UK gathers together scholars, researchers, policy makers or practitioners from around the world and across the full spectrum of science, social science, arts and humanities to address themes of global significance in collaboration with Durham’s Research Institutes and researchers.

Amount: covers the costs associated with travelling to Durham, UK from home institution (return fare – economy class) and an honorarium (€4,200 for three months, prorated for shorter stays, not subject to UK tax); meals; accommodation in a one or two-bedroom flat, usually in one of Durham’s 16 Colleges
Fellowships are available for periods of 6 weeks to 6 months between October 2017 and September 2018 (with a typical stay of 3 months).
Eligibility: Applications are considered from researchers with an established or emerging international reputation for scholarship or research leadership. Before applying, applicants must seek the agreement of a Durham academic to act as their host.
Applications are encouraged from individuals who wish to work on collaborative research projects with one of Durham University’s thematic Institutes. However, applications are also welcome from individuals wishing to collaborate on a research project associated with other research groups or Research Centres (include centres in Faculties of Law, Music) at Durham University.
