Workshop – Dealing with Procrastination, Blocks, and Resistance to Writing.

The Faculty Writing Support Program is organizing its first workshop:

Dealing with Procrastination, Blocks, and Resistance to Writing

November 9, 2018
12:30-2:30 p.m.

Four Western faculty, who have all experienced such challenges and found their own mechanisms to address them, will lead the conversation:

  • Lindsay Bell, Anthropology
  • Nicole Campbell, Physiology and Pharmacology
  • Kelly Olson, Classical Studies
  • Valerie Oosterveld, Law

Click here for more information and to register (registration deadline: October 31). Post-docs, librarians, full-time faculty, and part-time faculty are all welcome.

Also, there are still a few spaces at the writing retreat this Thursday, October 11, 9am-4pm. Please email the organizers directly, and asap, if interested. And anyone looking for a collegial space for weekly writing, do check out the Friday drop-in session, 9.30-11.30am. All details on the website.

These events are part of Western’s Faculty Writing Support Program–a grassroots enterprise led by two Western faculty members with support and funding from Research Western.
