To support Western scholars in developing robust, meaningful and feasible knowledge exchange (KEx/KMb/KT) and equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) strategies as part of research, a new tool is available on the Western Research Knowledge Exchange and Impact website. The user friendly tool includes both definitions of key KEx concepts as well as examples of EDI considerations across the research life cycle (beyond team composition and HQP).
Accompanying the tool, is a resource guide that identifies a sample of local (on-campus and off-campus) organizations from an EDI lens that can be used for outreach, engagement and potential collaboration.
To access the tool and resource guide:
- Go to https://www.uwo.ca/research/services/kex/index.html
- Scroll down to click on “Tools & Resources”
- Select the Knowledge Exchange and EDI tool and/or EDI Resource Guide: On-Campus and Off-Campus Organizations
