The American Musicological Society (AMS) has a number of Awards, some with deadlines upcoming soon. Deadlines and value varies. For some you must be a member of AMS but for others the nominations are open.

Early Music Award
for outstanding work on music before 1550

Alfred Einstein Award
for outstanding article in musicology (early stages)

Roland Jackson Award
for outstanding work in music analysis
(deadline: 15 April)

Judy Tsou Critical Race Studies Award
for outstanding work in critical race/ethnic studies
(deadline: 15 April)

Otto Kinkeldey Award
for outstanding work of musicological scholarship (beyond early stages)

Lewis Lockwood Award
for outstanding work of musicological scholarship (early stages)

Music in American Culture Award
for outstanding scholarship in music of the United States
(deadline: 15 April)

H. Colin Slim Award
for outstanding article in musicology (beyond early stages)

Robert M. Stevenson Award
for outstanding scholarship in Iberian and Latin American music

AMS Teaching Award
for an exceptional pedagogical resource

Philip Brett Award

Noah Greenberg Award
